Account Service Manager / IT


Our client, a leading banking and financial services turnkey consultancy with a strong ASIAN presence is looking for an Account Service Manager (Technical Lead/ Project Manager/ Senior Consultant) to manage a team servicing a few clients based in Brunei.

  • You will be responsible to develop and manage all aspects of successful account servicing, including relationship management, SLA and delivery management as well as team management.
  • You will drive the effective and efficient operation of the technical and support teams from working both through their leads as well as directly.
  • An ideal candidate will have project management experience with a solid background in the planning, prioritization and execution of banking or financial application IT projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in assigned client accounts.
  • Oversee the timely billing and collection of payment from clients.
  • Work closely with the country manager to identify new opportunity to up-sell or cross-sell new products to the clients.
  • Manage and negotiate all CR and IR for the assigned accounts, ensuring that SLAs are met.
  • Provide leadership and support to technical and support team for escalated issues.

Requirements
  • Minimum degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other Computing/Engineering disciplines.
  • 7+ years of experience in SDLC with at least 2+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • Experienced Technical Leads/IT managers with a track record of successfully managing both the delivery-related as well as commercial aspects of financial solutions are preferred 
  •  Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with, and influencing others in determining, communicating and gaining agreement on solution priorities, while managing scope, costs, and timelines and stakeholder expectations 
  • Must be a highly disciplined self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision 
  • Demonstrated success managing a project/ support team size of 5-15 members 
  • Excellent project risk management and change control abilities 
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to details, sensitivity to quality, customer experience and customer satisfaction 
  • Familiar with RPG/400/ RPGLE or financial applications (Advantageous) 
  • This is a permanent position based in Brunei 
  • Preference will be given to local candidates
